Romantic love makes us believe, every time, that we don’t have to be responsible for our lives. The intoxication of love gives the illusion that we found the ONE to erase the pain and make life easy forever. We go from one person to the next when the intoxication is over chasing this high. Love is not a high…Love is a challenge.
Love is the gateway to our greater selves through the trials she delivers in order to find the “love with no illusions” that can weather the storms of disappointment, betrayal and misfortune.
First wait to discover if you can get past the stage of romanticism,of intoxication. Wait to see if there is any real substance in this to help you both survive the pain that “love with no illusions” inevitably delivers in order to experience its true glory. I’m 83 & I’m Tired
I’m tired of hearing wealthy athletes, entertainers and politicians of all parties talking about innocent mistakes, stupid mistakes or youthful mistakes, when we all know they think their only mistake was getting caught. I’m tired of people with a sense of entitlement, rich or poor.
I’m really tired of people who don’t take responsibility for their lives and actions. I’m tired of hearing them blame the government, or discrimination
